Food is nourishment, we all eat food; we all need food, yet while we have all learned to find love in all the things we do from our jobs we need for the bills that come every month to the passion we have when deciding on the new vacuum cleaner it seems many of us are too busy in our lives to see food as more than just the meal we consume to stay alive; my joy is to be able to share the love that I have found for food to as many people as possible to make food an adventure, in some ways a novelty and most importantly a memory, a moment shared with a loved one or just oneself.

As a photographer I am inspired in many ways by the same things that I am as a chef, to save moments, capture feelings and appreciate the immense wealth of beauty in our lives that so often go unnoticed, seen and forgotten.

In the old days photos were developed in dark rooms by professionals and while the misconception is that these old photos didn't "cheat" they weren't edited or processed this is false, image processing had been a technique widely used since the first cameras came to be - in the digital age these techniques continue to bring raw sensor data from very flawed camera CMOS chips to life as photos that capture not just the emotions but the very sight that was project onto the photographers eye.
